What is voltage? Electric current is flow of electrons in a conductor. The force required to make current flow through a conductor is called voltage and potential is the other term of voltage.

How does voltage make current flow?

Voltage in the power source—the "potential difference" between the battery's two poles—is activated, creating pressure that forces electrons to flow as current out the battery's negative terminal. Current reaches the light, causing it to glow. Current returns to the power source.

How do you calculate voltage flow?

Ohms Law is used extensively in electronics formulas and calculations so it is “very important to understand and accurately remember these formulas”.

Is voltage a pressure or flow?
